In this region, the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR) established the Institute in 1970. The Pennsylvania Realtors Institute was designed and developed to satisfy the need for a more comprehensive and effective learning experience in real estate transactions.
The GRI curriculum consists of a series of three courses such as professional standards, environmental concerns, residential construction, home inspections and warranties, building your real estate business, financing, legal issues, taxation, agency, pricing and evaluating property, investment, property management, and more. To receive your GRI designation you must complete three GRI courses and be a member of PAR.
